I haven't done much to this car in the past few years other than just drive it. It's got over 326k miles on it now, still running the original engine and a 4T65HD trans that was built back in the 2000s. It's a 2002 transmission, built specifically for this car, and it's held up pretty well considering the mileage. That said, it's definitely showing its age. The blower's chattery and the valve train is noisy enough that it's time to go through it.

I'll be replacing all the lifters, rockers, and pushrods to quiet things down and freshen up the top end. On the upgrade side, I'm pulling the old ported Series 2 lower intake and going with a stock Series 3 manifold setup. I'm also dropping in a Gen V blower and swapping over to the 2005 Northstar throttle body. The EVAP and EGR are getting deleted while I'm in there-no reason to keep that stuff at this point.

Exhaust is getting a bit of an overhaul too. I've got a full cat-back stainless SLP system going on along with a ZZP catted downpipe. I'm holding off on headers or PLOGs for now. That'll come later in another phase once the rest of the setup is dialed in.
