Backstory

Currently rebuilding my 2002 Monte with the originally L36 3800. It now has L67 piston and rods, series 3 intake, 62mm turbo, 60# Injectors, 4” intercooler, ZZP front and rear turbo headers, 90# springs and car is currently stripped down to 3k lbs. I’m keeping the stock cam and I’ve ran 12.7’s before I broke some of the pistons.

Question

Is there any way to eliminate some of the harness and the car could run? I’m also looking for a schematic for an option to run LS coils instead of the coil packs.

Thanks

Unfortunately, the only items you can safely remove are the evap and egr; you need the rest of that harness. I was working on creating a harness to use other style coil packs, but life got in the way. The stock coils are perfect; you will run into issues when using ZZP, MSD, and Accel. I have a video on how to get the most out of the stock coils. ***
I had seen something a while back were someone had messed with the wiring and made it so we could eliminate the coil packs. That’s why I was asking. If I get ahold of the schematic I’ll post it.
