Thanks for the add! 3 years ago I did swap an LX9 into my 2005 Equinox.
So far, I did reuse the following stuff from the LNJ:
-Upper Intake Manifold.
-Right/Front Mounting Bracket.
-Fuel Rail/Injectors.
-Exhaust Manifold (with Delphi EGR)
-Oil Pan.
-Flexplate.
-Oil Filter Adapter.
The PCM P05 is the same (minus the TCM portion of it) as the Epsilon (Malibu/G6) and 2nd Gen U SUV (Rendezvous)/3rd Gen U Vans (Uplander/Montana). So no modifications there; an almost Plug n Play swap on 1st Gen Theta SUVs (2005-2006 Equinox, 2006 Torrent).
So far, i did 4 of this already without issues. Way more reliable than the LNJ (made by SAIC-GM in China), as well as 15hp/10ft-lbs more powerful.
Eventually, I'll swap an LZ4 or LZ9 on a 2007-2009 Equinox/Torrent (ECM E38) when the time comes.
