Hello everyone! Name's Kevin and I've been addicted to W-Bodies since I purchased a 1995 Buick Regal coupe back in 2003. I used to post over at several of the old W-Body sites going back 21 years (W-Body.com, WbodySource.com, GMWbody.com, and NAIOA.com - 3 of the 4 now defunct) under the moniker "Disco Studd" if anyone remembers. I have a wealth of knowledge of these cars and currently have a YouTube channel https://youtube.com/@certifiedshadetree?feature=shared . My channel mainly focuses on the 9th Gen Impala, but I do have a few older videos featuring an 8th Gen Impala.

I currently have 2 W's in the stable, a 2015 Impala Limited LTZ and a 2009 Impala LT. The 09 came from Copart, and I have documented its rebirth from scrap metal status to reliable daily driver on my channel. The 15 is my current daily, and every mod I've done to the car is also documented on the channel.

Some of my old W's:
- 95 Regal Custom Coupe - White with the L27 3800 Series I motor. Didn't do too many mods to this one. Installed a system in it, put in KYB struts, and 17" Eagle 192 wheels on it. Sold it to a buddy who drove it for 8 years and got it up to 288,000 miles, replaced it with a 93 S-10 Blazer.
- 95 Grand Prix SE Coupe - Red with the L82 3100, BYP body cladding, and silver sawblade wheels. Owned concurrently with the Regal, regrettably traded it for an 04 Malibu Classic.
- 96 Lumina base model - Maroon with the L82 (it had CRANK windows!) Owned it concurrently with the Regal, traded it for my next car below.
- 04 Impala base model - Victory Red with the LA1 3400 (owned this one for almost 16 years! Had 20k when I bought it, 225k when I sold it.) Did quite a bit to this car, actually. Installed a custom CAI and a 3500 Upper Intake manifold. Installed an overhead console with a DIC. Swapped in a leather steering wheel with audio controls. Installed an Indy SS grille and the 17" Eagle 192's from my Regal. Oldest stepson drove this one for a number of years, sold when he bought his own 15 Impala Limited LS (featured on the channel!)
- 12 Impala LT - Black with the 3.6 LFX. Didn't mod this one too much, either. I did install a MyLink radio from a 13 Traverse in this one (one of my first YT videos.) I have videos of when I took apart the upper intake and cleaned the intake valves, which is one of the only videos that makes me money! 🤣 Sold this one at 182k and bought my 15 LTZ.

Welcome to the forums! It's awesome to see every generation of W-body represented—that’s really impressive! You've got a fascinating vehicle history too; it’s a shame you don’t have the '95 Grand Prix anymore. I also have a '95 SE, so it's great to meet someone else who’s owned one!

Glad to see you here! I modded your post to have the actual link to your channel, anybody else reading this, go watch him! He has some great videos! but man just like us, you had a bunch of these w’s and have crazy knowledge on them, again, glad to see you here and hopefully we will see you more here!
