Here’s the story of how I came across and revived my 1990 Grand Prix Turbo (TGP):
While working on my 1993 Grand Prix Special Edition, I needed a hood with louvers and ended up finding one on a black TGP in a junkyard. Despite minor issues—a burned column and missing carpet due to a sunroof leak—the car was in great shape. Amazingly, the yard still had the title, and I bought it for $200 plus $50 for towing. After some quick repairs, I registered it and embarked on a 700-mile road trip just two days later.
This car remains my favorite W-body model and is still with me today!
