Upcoming Project 2005 Grand Prix CompG

I started on the new engine build on June 24th 2023 and just got back on it today to install the XP cam and valve train


Things to do:

1. Remove ported & polished heads off the 2005 GP
2. Create a parts list for the CompG
3. Create parts list for engine
4. create parts list for transmission
5. more to come

Engine parts list:

1. Head gaskets (Need to order)
2. ARP Headstuds (On hand)
3. Supercharger gasket (On hand)
4. Intake gasket (On hand)
5. XP Cam (Installed) Torqued
6. Timing Chain kit (Installed)
7. Valve seals (On hand)
8. Solid mount (need to order)

Transmission parts list:

1. Circle D High stall torque converter (Need to order)
2. Shift Solenoids (on hand)
3. Pressure Solenoid (on hand)
4. Internal Harness (on hand)
5. Valve body gaskets and spare (on hand)
6. Shift kit (on hand)
7. Solid mount (need to order)

I'm going to be redoing this thread later this week, jumping back on this project and i need to make a list of things to do and create a parts list.
